9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,002 reviews)
The property itself is nice; however, I was very disappointed with how management handled an unexpected water outage during my stay. A water main broke, leaving the hotel without water for approximately a day. I had an event to attend and was unable to shower, so I ultimately had to book another hotel. What was most disappointing was that no alternative accommodations or meaningful assistance were offered. Given that Hilton has multiple properties in the area, I would have expected management to at least help guests explore options at another location. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told that because I had already paid for my stay, there was essentially nothing they could do. I ended up paying for another Hilton property myself. I understand that a water main break is beyond the hotel’s control. My issue is not that the outage occurred, but rather how the situation was handled afterward. Unexpected problems happen in the hospitality business; good management is demonstrated by how those problems are addressed. I generally have had very good experiences with Hilton, which made this situation particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, based on the lack of assistance and concern shown to guests during the outage, I would not recommend this particular property.

9.8/10 Exceptional! (26 reviews)
I thought I was booking a beautiful place to stay. I didn’t expect The Reserve to make me feel so deeply cared for. My friend and I stayed in the Ouachita Suite, and the entire experience was peaceful, intimate, comfortable, and genuinely restorative. The property is gorgeous, but the thoughtful details and warm hospitality made it truly special. One morning, I was lying in bed knowing my tea would soon be waiting outside our door, and I found myself laughing and almost crying because it felt so wonderful. I’m usually the one who plans, coordinates, cooks, and cares for everyone else. At The Reserve, I could move at my own pace, enjoy breakfast without preparing it, and simply receive. Some places make you feel welcome; The Reserve allowed my entire nervous system to exhale. The staff made us feel genuinely cared for, and I missed them after we left. My only complaint is that I came home to discover no one had placed tea outside my bedroom door, breakfast had not magically prepared itself, and I was apparently responsible for my own life again. Very disappointing. 😂 The Reserve reset my standard for travel: beautiful, peaceful, personal, and lovingly cared for. It became one of the most meaningful parts of our Hot Springs trip. I would return without hesitation—and The Enclave may be next. Five stars.
